  • Winterterm 2017/18
  • Tuesdays, 8:15-9:45, Room: NWI H9

Module P206 (Labcourse)

(Block Course in July 2018)

Organic Electronic Devices

The practical course to the lecture Polymerphysik II (Module P206; 6 SWS, 5 LP; Prof. A. Köhler) addresses not only students of the master course Polymer Science but also students of master courses of physics and chemistry.
In this course you learn basics in producing and analysing of electronic components based on organic semiconductors. Some components are:'

  • Organic LEDs (OLEDs)
  • Organic Field-effect Transistor (OFETs)
  • Organic Photovoltaics (OPVs)

The practical course gives you a review about the fabrication of thin layer through spin-coating, sublimation and vapour-coating. Afterwards the fabricated components will be specified and analyzed.

Groups of 2 or 3 students are scheduled. It can be done in one or three time-sections.
